Army troops donate blood to Vavuniya Hospital
October 13, 2021Sri Lanka Army troops under the Security Force Headquarters-Wanni organized a blood donation campaign recently in order to donate blood to the blood bank at Vavuniya General Hospital.
More than 100 members including monks and the troops serving the Headquarters, 213 Brigade, 2nd Battalion Mechanized Infantry Regiment, 5th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry, 4th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard and Mechanized Infantry Training Centre joined the campaign, the Army said.
Senior Officers and a medical team of the Vavuniya General Hospital took part in this worthy project, the Army added.
