Indian Army Chief meets Defence Secretary
October 13, 2021Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army (COAS) General Manoj Mukund Naravane accompanied by a military delegation met the Defence Secretary Gen. Kamal Gunaratne (Retd) at the Ministry today (Oct 13).
The Defence Secretary and the visiting Indian Army Chief had cordial discussions on bilateral relations and military training during the meeting.
Military Liaison Officer of the Defence Ministry Maj. Gen. Dinesh Nanayakkara was also present at the occasion.
The Defence Secretary and the Indian Army Chief also exchanged mementos during the meeting to mark the occasion.
Making a goodwill visit, the Indian Army Chief arrived in the country yesterday (Oct 12) leading a five member delegation.
