Army built four new houses in Mullaitivu vested in

The Sri Lanka Army’s Security Force Headquarters - Mullaitivu (SFHQ-MLT) completed the construction of four new houses recently and vested them in the needy civilians in different areas in the region.

Accordingly, Mrs Ramachandran Madiwadini of Kiranamadu, Mandakandal,  Mr Vigneshwaran in Mankulam, Mr  Chandra Kumar in Oddusuddan  and Mrs Rasarthiram Rajeshwari in Muthiyankaddukulam were the beneficiaries of 4 houses with furniture, the Army sources stated.

The housing project saw success  due to technical expertise and manpower provided by 14 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, 23 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and 13 Sri Lanka National Guard together with the financial sponsorship of the philanthropist and Buddhist monks from the South.

The Project was underway with the direction of SFHQ-MLT Commander Maj. Gen. Sisira Pilapitiya who also attended the simple house warming ceremonies held separately, the Army stated.
