SLAF Judokas to leave country for World Military Games
October 25, 2021Ten Judoka’s selected from the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) and Sergeant Nuwan Attanayake who is an International Judo Referee is scheduled to leave the island on Oct 27 for the 40th World Military Judo Championship which is scheduled to be held in Paris, France this month.
The skipper of the team Corporal Chamara Dharmawardhane is a nationally and internationally experienced Judoka and has represented Sri Lanka at the recently concluded Tokyo Olympics and the Rio Olympics, the SLAF sources said.
The Air Force Chief Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana had also conveyed his best wishes to the line-up.
