Airmen donate blood to Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital
November 26, 2021Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) in Anuradhapura conducted a blood donation campaign recently where nearly 400 SLAF and civil personnel volunteered to donate blood to the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital.
According to SLAF media, the programme was conducted in line with the 39th Base Day of SLAF Base Anuradhapura and the opening of the newly constructed Northern Air Command Headquarters.
The programme was held under proper health guidelines with the participation of medical authorities of the Teaching Hospital at the National Youth Services Council theater premises in Anuradhapura , it says.
Air Force personnel from basses around the Northern Air Command had attended the programme.
