Two Army-built houses vested in Jaffna families
November 30, 2021Two new Sri Lanka Army-built houses were vested in two deserving families in Karainagar and Puttur areas in Jaffna recently during separate warming ceremonies.
Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna Maj. Gen. Jagath Kodithuwakku along with the donors Mr and Mrs Mohan Shanker of Jaffna graced the warming ceremonies of beneficiaries - Mr Thampirasa Mathiyalagan and Mr S Sureshkuma, the Army sources said.
Manpower and technical support were generously provided by 11 Sri Lanka Light Infantry and 15 Gajaba Regiment troops, the Army also said.
Senior military officers, regional state officials, donors and troops were present during those inaugural ceremonies, adhering to all stipulated health guidelines, the Army added.
