SLAF wins Silver Award for Annual Report and Accounts in public sector
December 31, 2021The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) was presented the Silver Award for ‘Annual Report and Accounts’ among the public sector, pertaining to the financial year of 2019.
The Command Internal Auditor, Wing Commander RR Somathilaka received the award on SLAF’s behalf during the ceremony held at the BMICH.
Secretary to the Treasury, Ministry of Finance S.R. Attygalle graced this year’s ceremony, the SLAF said.
The ‘Association of Public Finance Accountants of Sri Lanka’ had organized the event together with the Ministry of Finance.
Afterwards, the award was presented to the Air Force Commander Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana by Wing Commander Somathilaka at the SLAF Headquarters.
This year’s competition was held for the 5th occasion while adhering to the healthcare guidelines, the SLAF added.
