Army to continue countrywide Booster Vaccination
January 23, 2022The Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps (SLAMC) continues to carry out the national vaccination drive against COVID-19 pandemic around the island by providing Pfizer booster dose for all above 20 years.
The Sri Lanka Army (SLA) said SLAMC troops in close coordination with regional MOH offices and officials continue this process.
Vaccination drive is performed inside vaccination centres and also through mobile vaccination units, the SLA said indicating that the priority would also be given to senior citizens and differently-able communities in specific areas.
This process is continued under the directives of the Acting Chief of Defence Staff and Army Commander Gen. Shavendra Silva.
