The Inauguration Ceremony of in-ward facility for Oncology and Ophthalmology patients at the University Hospital
February 16, 2022In-ward facility for Oncology and Ophthalmology patients (Ward 5B) at the University Hospital, Kotelawala Defence University, Werahera Was declared open by the Vice Chancellor of KDU Major General Milinda Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil on 15th February 2022 at 1130 AM.
The ceremony was held with the presence of the several invitees at the Hospital premises. Dr B Jayan Mendis the Executive Director of the University Hospital, Brigadier PS Thilakarathne, Director Medical Service, Colonel EMGHJB Dehideniya RWP RSP Director Administration, Dr Jayantha Balawaradana, Dr Sachini Rasnayaka, Dr Aruna Fernando and several Consultant Specialists, Medical Officers, Senior Tri Services Officers, and UHKDU staff also participated to the event.
Further, Representatives of Siyol International (Pvt) Ltd and Hemas Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd who contributed to upgrade the facilities of the wards also participated for the event.
