Organizational Membership agreement between KDU & BCS
March 20, 2022The Faculty of Computing of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) has established the Organizational Membership with the British Computer Society (BCS), the Charted Institute for IT.
The agreement for a foreign Chartered body to partner with a Sri Lankan University has reckoned as first of its kind and to receive the approval of the Cabinet of Ministers.
This becomes the first BCS Organizational Membership during BCS operation in Sri Lanka for more than 20 years, the KDU sources said.
KDU Vice Chancellor Maj. Gen. Milinda Peiris exchanged the organizational membership plaque with the Regional Manager of BCS Deepashika Gunasekara yesterday to mark the occasion. the KDU added.
