SLAF rotates MI-17 helicopters in UN Mission
April 04, 2022Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) dispatched two MI-17 helicopters to SLAF Aviation Contingent in Central African Republic (MINUSCA) as part of the rotation process during which three MI-17 helicopters deployed in MINUSCA returned to Sri Lanka after completion of its operational tenure recently.
The SLAF sources stated that rotation took place from 29 March to 02 April and the aircraft rotation was coordinated through SLAF UN Mission Cell under the supervision of Chief of Staff.
