Indian ship in the country
June 18, 2019Making a three-day official goodwill visit, the Indian Naval Ship (INS) Ranvir arrived to the country, today (18 June). According to Navy media, the visiting Indian ship was accorded a traditional welcome upon its arrival at the Colombo harbor, this morning.
'Ranvir' is 146m long and carries a crew of 273 naval personnel. The crew is scheduled to take part in several programmes organized by the Sri Lanka Navy during its stay in the island.
The ship is scheduled to leave the country on Thursday (20 June).
