Secretary convenes special meeting on ensuring security for Bellanvila Perahera
August 23, 2019Secretary to the Ministry of Defence General SHS Kottegoda (Rtd) WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc convened a special meeting to discuss on the security aspects of the forthcoming Bellanvila Esala Perahera, today (23rd August). The meeting was attended by officers of the security forces and police.
Secretary Defence had discussions about the security plan with those present and also issued directions to the authorities to take necessary measures to ensure maximum security during the Perahera period
