Air Force in Batticaloa organize a blood donation campaign
May 05, 2022Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) personnel serving at SLAF Station Batticaloa donated much needed blood to the Batticaloa Teaching Hospital at a blood donation campaign on Wednesday (04).
According to SLAF media, the blood donation campaign was carried out as a part of the Community Service Responsibility programme of SLAF Station Batticaloa in response to a request by hospital authorities indicating the urgent need to replenish blood stocks at the hospital.
A cross section of Air Force and civil personnel at the Station had volunteered to donated blood at the programme, it says.
