Army troops fetch Sacred Ornaments to Nallathanniya
May 23, 2022Sri Lanka Army (SLA) troops joined bringing the symbolic statue of God Saman and sacred ornaments to Nallathanniya recently in a procession in accordance with long held traditions.
The 19 Sri Lanka National Guard Troops volunteered the task in consultation with the Chief Incumbent, Ven. Bengamuwe Dhammadinna Nayake Thero, the SLA Media said.
Commander Security Forces - Central Maj. Gen. Samantha Silva, 112 Brigade Commander Col. Chandima Kumarasinghe and a few senior Officers were also associated with the arrangement, the SLA added.
