Defence Secretary commemorates fallen UN peacekeepers
May 29, 2022Today, the May 29, the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers, I would like to commemorate and pay tribute to all the UN peacekeepers including the 11 Sri Lankans those who have lost their lives in the cause of peace.
Nonviolence is considered the ‘greatest’ and ‘strongest’ weapon in the world. Therefore, on this special day, we must spread the awareness on nonviolence that broaches ‘dignity’ and ‘humanity’ to the every corner of the world.
