Army-built house in Uyilankulam vested in a needy family
June 03, 2022Sri Lanka Army (SLA) troops built a house for a needy family in Uyilankulam as one more CIMIC project of the SLA and vested in the family recently.
17 Sri Lanka Light Infantry troops of the 651 Brigade under command to the 65 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - Wannni (SFHQ-W) completed the project with the sponsorship provided by Sri Lankan Well Wishers in Adelaide, members of “Wellbeing SA Inc” and retired Sri Lanka Engineers in South Australia, the SLA said.
The house-warming ceremony was attended by General Officer Commanding, 65 Division Maj. Gen. Anil Samarasiri, Senior Officers, family members and the troops, the SLA added.
