SLN sets up two RO Plants at Aranthalawa and Galewela
June 05, 2022Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) continuing its community welfare oriented services set up two Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plants at Aranthalawa International Buddhist Centre and Ihala Diggala Primary School in Galewela recently.
This community-oriented development task fulfills the safe drinking water requirement of Bhikkhus at Aranthalawa International Buddhist Centre, the school students and families in the locality, the SLN sources stated.
Commander Southeastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Mahinda Mahawatte declared open the new RO plant during a brief ceremony.
Partnering the national program to prevent chronic kidney disease in several parts of the country, the SLN under the sponsorship of the Health Ministry and well-wishers establish RO plants around the country while providing technical expertise and labour.
