SL Air Force wins laurels at National Lifesaving Championship 2021/2022
June 06, 2022The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) men’s and women’s teams emerged victorious at the recently held 70th National Lifesaving Championship – 2021/2022.
According to SL Air Force media, Air Force men’s team had won 01 Gold, 06 Silver and 05 Bronze medals while the women’s team had secured 08 Gold and 08 Silver medals to secure the championship titles. In addition the SLAF Men’s ‘B’ team secured the overall 1st Runner up position.
The 70th National Lifesaving Championship competition organized by the Sri Lanka Lifesaving Association was held at the at Sri Jayawardanapura swimming pool complex and Lifesaving Headquarters in Mount Lavinia last week (03&04 June).
