Maj. Gen. Jagath Kodithuwakku assumes Army's second highest office
June 08, 2022Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku, has been appointed as the new Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army with effect from today (Jun 8)
Accordingly, Maj. Gen. Kodithuwakku assumed duties as the 60th Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army (SLA) today.
He was the Deputy Chief of Staff of SLA prior to his elevation to the second highest office of the Sri Lanka Army. He has held a number of key appointments in the Army during his illustrious career.
