RSA donates a house for the mother of a war hero
June 15, 2022Ranaviru Seva Authority (RSA) recently donated a newly constructed house to a mother of a war hero who died while on active duty.
Accordingly, Mrs. S. G. Kalyanawathie, mother of Corporal Kavindralal Senadheera of the 19 Gemunu Watch in Horana Dombagoda received the house which was built by Engineer Services Regiment using the financial sponsorship of Chamal de Mel, Chairman of JSW Apparel, the RSA said.
The RSA further stated that the house where Mrs. Kalyanayawathie and her family lived was damaged due to landslides in the year 2021.
Chairman, JSW Apparel Mr. Chamal de Mel, RSA Director Maj. Gen. Kithsiri Ekanayake (Retd.), Kalutara District Program Officer of RSA Miss. Gayeshi Lakshika and family members were also present at the occasion.
