Bangladesh DSCSC Commandant meets Defence Secretary
June 15, 2022Commandant of the Bangladesh Defence Services Command and Staff College Maj. Gen. Ibne Fazal Shayekhuzzaman made a call on the Sri Lankan Defence Secretary General Kamal Gunaratne at the Defence Headquarters Complex in Sri Jayawardenepura, Kotte today (15 June).
During the cordial discussion Maj. Gen. Shayekhuzzaman praising the efforts of the Sri Lankan Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) said that it has a conducive environment for learning and training of future military leaders.
Defence Secretary Gen. Gunaratne thanked the visiting senior Bangladeshi military officer for his comments on the Sri Lankan DSCSC.
He is a former Engineer-in-Chief of Bangladesh Army and a trustee of the Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology.
At the conclusion of the meeting Gen. Gunaratne and Maj. Gen. Shayekhuzzaman exchanged mementos and gifts to mark the occasion.
Military Liaison Officer of the Defence Ministry Maj. Gen. Dinesh Nanayakkara was also present at the occasion.
