New DSCSC Commandant calls on Secretary
June 21, 2022The new Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) Major General Lasantha Rodrigo made a call on the Defence Secretary General Kamal Gunaratne at the Defence Ministry, Defence Headquarters Complex in Sri Jayawardenepura, Kotte, today (21 Jun).
During the cordial discussion the Defence Secretary wished Maj. Gen. Rodrigo on his appointment as the head of the prestigious DSCSC and expressed confidence that he would continue to take the institution to greater heights.
Defence Secretary Gen. Gunaratne and Maj. Gen. Rodrigo also exchanged mementos to mark the occasion.
Incidentally, the former Commandant of the DSCSC Maj.Gen. Nishantha Herath paid his farewell call on the Defence Secretary General Kamal Gunaratne at the Defence Ministry, recently (17 Jun).
