Coast Guard receives IT equipment from Australian Border Force
June 27, 2022Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG) received a set of Information Technology Equipment which will be useful for future training and development programmes in the Coast Guard.
According to the SLCG sources, an Australian Border Force (ABF) delegation led by their First Secretary Inspector Brett Zehnder officially handed over the items to the SLCG Director General Rear Admiral Anura Ekanayake at the SLCG Rear Headquarters in Wellawatte recently.
The equipment received will be utilized for the mobile training activities and it would be immensely helpful to enhance the training facilities, the SLCG said.
International Operations and Coordination of ABF Inspector Vanessa Bell and SLCG officials were present at the occasion.
