Army distributes essentials for infants in Mirusuvil
June 28, 2022Army troops gifted needs for infants and other essentials to a group of fifty pregnant women at Mirusuvil recently as a gesture of goodwill that promotes reconciliation and co-existence.
The 521 Brigade HQ under the 52 Division of the Security Force HQ-Jaffna (SFHQ-J) organized the programme with the assistance of 11 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment troops and Mr Rajikaran Shanmugarathnam, an expatriate-based in Canada sponsored the programme.
Senior Army Officers, several invitees including the Divisional Secretary Vadamarachchi North and Point Pedro, Assistant Superintendent of Police Point Pedro, Army personnel joined the occasion.
