Hambantota Hospital receives Medical Accessories through Army mediation
July 15, 2022The Government Hospital in Hambantota recently received a consignment of urgently-required medical equipment through the mediation of the Sri Lanka Army (SLA) in order to uplift health facilities of the people in Hambantota.
Responsive to the request of the 12 Division HQ of the Security Force HQ-Central, the ‘PIMA UAE' Chapter and the Sri Lankan Community in the UAE sponsored the donation, the Army sources stated.
12 Division General Officer Commanding, Maj. Gen. Lanka Amarapala symbolically handed over the consignment of those medical accessories and equipment to the Hospital Director, Dr Suranga Basnayake at the hospital compound, the SLA said.
Several Senior Officers and administrative officers at Hambantota Hospital joined the occasion.
