Defence Secretary inquires health of Army soldiers
injured near the Parliament Complex

Defence Secretary General Kamal Gunaratne made a visit to the Colombo Army Hospital today morning (July 15) and inquired about the health of the Sri Lanka Army soldiers who sustained serious injuries after the protesters brutally attacked them on Wednesday while they were on duty near the Parliament complex.
During the visit, General Gunaratne shared a few thoughts with the soldiers who have been receiving medical treatments at the hospital.
Commander of the Army Lt. Gen. Vikum Liyanage, Military Liaison Officer of the Ministry of Defence Maj. Gen. Dinesh Nanayakkara, Director General Army Health Services Brigadier Chrisantha Fernando and senior officers were present at the occasion.
