Deserving families in the East receive dry rations through Army coordination
July 29, 2022Sri Lanka Army distributed a consignment of 200 dry ration packs, each valued at Rs 5000/= among most deserving residents in Thoppigala, Kiliveddy, Kirillaveli Welikanda, Sinhapura, Sewanapitiya and Katuwanwila in the East recently.
Mr. Prasad Lokubalasooriya of Gampaha sponsored the community project at the request of Commander, Security Forces - East (SFHQ- East) Maj. Gen. Priyantha Jayawardena, the Army stated.
Several Senior Officers and Other Ranks of the SFHQ - East joined the donation programme.
