SL Navy welcomes PNS Taimur at Colombo port
August 12, 2022The Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) welcomed Pakistan Navy Ship (PNS) Taimur to the port of Colombo on a formal visit today (12 Aug).
The 134m-long ship manned by 169 is expected to remain in the island until August 15 and the crew of the ship will take part in several programmes organized by the SLN to promote cooperation and goodwill between two navies, the SLN sources said.
Further, PNS Taimur is expected to conduct a naval exercise with the Sri Lanka Navy in western seas, the SLN added.
