Army promotes badminton among Kilinochchi Students
August 23, 2022Sri Lanka Army (SLA) organized a badminton tournament recently in the indoor stadium at Northern Province sports complex to improve badminton skills among school teenagers in Kilinochchi.
A total of 64 badminton players belonging to Kilinochchi Central College, Kilinochchi Hindu Maha Vidyalaya and Kilinochchi St Theresa Vidyalaya participated in the tournament organized by the Security Force Headquarters – Mullaitivu (SFHQ- MLT), the SLA sources said.
The Awarding Ceremony of the event was attended by Commander, SF-MLT Maj. Gen. Sanjaya Wanasinghe, Senior Army Officers, Regional Education Officers and Kilinochchi Sports Officer, the Army also stated.
