Army troops renovated lake dam in Kataragama
September 02, 2022Sri Lanka Army (SLA) troops renovated the Karawile Lake dam in Sella Kataragama at the request of the villagers and Irrigation officials and formally vested it back in the villagers recently.
General Officer Commanding, 12 Division and the Irrigation Engineer closely supervised the renovations, carried out by 3 Sri Lanka National Guard (3 SLNG) troops of the 122 Brigade with the help of villagers , the SLA sources said.
