Army troops clean Mannar lagoon belt
September 09, 2022Sri Lanka Army (SLA) troops organized a shramadana campaign recently as a community project and cleaned the lagoon belt from Thallady to Mannar Bridge.
The project was in progress to mark the 12th Anniversary of the 54 Division and aimed at preventing the Dengue epidemic in the area, the SLA sources said.
Senior Officers, troops and the staff in the Mannar Municipal Council joined the campaign.
