Several areas in Colombo declared as High Security Zones
September 24, 2022A Gazette Extraordinary has been issued declaring High Security Zones (HSZ) in Colombo.
Secretary to the Defence Ministry shall be the competent authority for the implementation of these orders.
Accordingly, the HSZs declared within the Colombo district are as follows:
Parliament Complex, Supreme Court Complex, High Court Complex in Colombo, Magistrate Court Complex in Colombo, Attorney General’s Department, Presidential Secretariat, President’s House, Sri Lanka Navy Headquarters, Police Headquarters, Defence Ministry and Sri Lanka Army Headquarters in Akuregoda, Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters in Slave Island, Prime Minister’s Office at Flower Road, Temple Trees in Kollupitiya, Official Residencies of Defence Secretary and Tri Forces Commanders.
