Army troops dowse bushfire in Morawaka Keerama
September 27, 2022Sri Lanka Army (SLA) extinguished a wildfire that spread over an extent of 30 acres recently in the forest area of Morawaka Keerama, Mapiti Kanda.
Troops of the 3 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) of the 122 Brigade of 12 Division under command to the Security Force Headquarters – Central controlled the fire within a few hours, the SLA sources said.
