Netherlands Envoy assures fullest support
October 07, 2022- Defence Secretary illustrates status quo to Netherlands Envoy
Her Excellency Bonnie Horbach, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Sri Lanka and Maldives paid a courtesy call on the Defence Secretary Gen. Kamal Gunaratne at the Defence Ministry in Sri Jayewardenepura, Kotte today (Oct 07).
Following a warm welcome during her first visit to the Defence Ministry premises situated at Sri Jayewardenepura in Kotte, both high officials had a cordial discussion.
Defence Secretary during the cordial discussion illustrated the current situation of the country to the Netherlands Envoy.
Ambassador Horbach while expressing her wishes to further strengthen the existing ties between two countries expressed her fullest support to Sri Lanka.
