Russian delegation meets Secretary
August 27, 2019A group of Russian delegates including Dr. Evegeny Usachev, a Russian Scientist met the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, General SHS Kottegoda WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc at the Ministry on Tuesday (27th August).
Earlier in the day Dr. Evegeny Usachev met the President at the President's Office and presented a USD 50,000.00 worth explosives detection equipment capable of sensing explosives, radiations and chemicals. The delegation had cordial discussions whilst explaining the benefits of the devise to the Secretary defence.
Mr. Oleg Rudnev Third Secretary to the Embassy of the Russian Federation, Colonel Denis I. Shkoda Military Air & Naval Attache to the Embassy of the Russian Federation, Dr. Usama Al Ali and Mr. Ismail Shafeeu represented the visiting delegation along with Dr. Evegeny Usachev & Mrs. Usachev.
Military Liaison Officer of the MoD, Brigadier TJ Kodithuwakku , Deputy Military Liaison Officer Brigadier Ajith Dissanayake, Superintendent of Police Athula Daulagala of the Sri Lanka Police Special Task Force, Coordinating Secretary to the President Mr. Senaka Abeygoonasekara and Coordinating Secretary & Advisor to Secretary Defence Mr. Suren Dayaratne was also present at the meeting held last evening.
