"Colombo Defence Seminar" enters second day
August 30, 2019The flagship international conference of the Sri Lanka Army, "Colombo Defence Seminar 2019" enters it second and final day, today (30).
The two-day international conference began yesterday at the BMICH.
President Maithripala Sirisena graced innaugural session as the chief guest.
This year the conclave is being held under theme ‘Evolving Military Excellence in the Contemporary Security Landscape’.
Foreign participants, representing 42 countries and 13 foreign and 14 local speakers are taking part at the Colombo Defence Seminar being held for the 9th consecutive time, this year.
