Army troops assist to clean places of worship in Kilinochchi
September 06, 2019A group of Sri Lanka Army soldiers extended their assistance to clean the Mulankavil Pillaiyar Kovil premises and Kariyalanagapadduwan Anthoniyar Church, recently. Army media states, that troops under Security Forces Headquarters- Kilinochchi had involved in this community welfare programme during 28th to 31st (August).
Meanwhile, kilinochchi troops had also organized a Shramadana to clean the Skandapuram Pillaiyar Kovil, last Saturday (31 August).
Army troops regularly lend assistance to carry out such community welfare programme as a part of their social service commitments.
