Secretary inspects work at Akuregoda Defence Services Headquarters Complex Project
September 07, 2019The Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, General SHS Kottegoda (Retd) WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc made an inspection visit to the Defence Services Headquarters Complex project at Akuregoda, today (07).
The Secretary, accompanied by the officials and Tri Forces officer in-charge of the project visited all sectors of the construction project. He inquired into the progress of the work and gave necessary instructions for expediting the completion of the project.
The Secretary also attended a briefing of the ongoing work of the project by the Director of the Project Management Unit, Air Vice Marshal RJ Pathirage.
During the visit, a sewage treatment plant at the project complex was also declared open by the Secretary.
