Clarification on news article published in Colombo Telegraph
June 17, 2019In apropos to the article published in the Colombo Telegraph today (17 June 2019), quoting a part of a comment made by the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence General SHS Kottegoda (Rtd) WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc during the "Pathikada" programme on Sirasa TV on US Military presence in Sri Lanka.
The Defence Ministry likes to clarify that the article had highlighted only a part of the interview which does not reflect the intended view of the Secretary Defence and not the whole of the comments presented by the Secretary Defence.
