Pakistani HC presents IT equipment to Military Academy
October 03, 2019A stock of IT equipment including computers and printers intended for the Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA) in Diyatalawa was gifted to the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva by the High Commissioner of Pakistan in Sri Lanka, H.E Dr. Shahid Ahmad Hashmat, when the latter met the Army Commander at his office on Wednesday (02 October).
According to Army media, the gifts were made to the Army’s premier seat of learning by the Pakistani High Commissioner expressing his sentiments of bilateral cooperation and sound understanding that prevails between the Armies of the two countries.
Deputy High Commissioner, Mr. Tanvir Ahmad, Commandant SLMA, Brigadier S.K Eshwaran, and the Pakistani Defence Adviser Colonel Sajjad Ali, had also been present at the occasion.
