Police Seva Vanitha Unit celebrates World Children’s Day

A special ceremony was held in view of the World Children’s Day, by the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Sri Lanka Police on 01st October. The ceremony was held at the Police Family Welfare Society premises in Colombo 05.
More than 170 children attending the Maradana, Police Field Force Headquarters, Kew Road and Lakvindu pre-schools attended the special ceremony. The acting Chairperson of the Police Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Prashanthi Fernando graced the ceremony as the chief guest.
The World Children’s Day was celebrated on 01st October.
