Navy and Air Force conduct joint exercise operation
October 23, 2019A joint Helicopter Deck Landing Exercise was conducted by the Sri Lanka Navy and Air Force at the Trincomalee harbor, on Sunday (20th October). The exercise involving an Air Force Bell 412 helicopter and Navy’s SLNS Sindurala ship was conducted with the aim to improve the safety and efficiency of making helicopter landings in high seas.
The exercise was successfully conducted with the joint collaboration of both services and will provide impetus for further improving collaborations in joint operations in the future.
