Police pugilists collect Silver and Bronze at Eindhoven Box Cup 2019 in Netherlands
October 24, 2019Sri Lanka Police representatives to the Eindhoven Box Cup 2019 in the Netherlands had managed to win a Silver and a Bronze medal.
The Eindhoven Box Cup is the Netherlands’ largest Olympic boxing event. It was held this year at the renowned Hotel Van der Valk Eindhoven from 17th to 20th (October 2019).
Police pugilists, Police Constable Weerasinghe competing under the 63kg weight group won Bronze while Poornima Jayasooriya won Silver in the 75kg weight group.
The Eindhoven Box Cup is organized by the Noble Art of Boxing Foundation, under supervision of the Dutch Boxing Association and AIBA and is open for Elite A-class boxers, both Male and Female, in all weight classes.
