'Wanni Innoveta - 2019' showcases new innovations of Army personnel
July 31, 2019The Sri Lanka Army organized 'Wanni Innoveta-2019' exhibition was held in Padaviya, Parakramapura, last week. According to Army media, the two day annual expo held on 26 and 27 (July) drew large crowds to the venue at Padaviya public ground to see and admire the display of creative skills of Army personnel.
This annual expo facilitates the exposure of innovations born out of the creative abilities of the service personnel.
Stalls had on display 36 new innovations at the exhibition organized by the troops under Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W). Three of these new products were selected to be awarded with prizes and certificates by a group of eminent judges.
The exhibition was opened by Major General Jagath Gunawardene, Commander, Security Forces - Wanni.
