Air Force provides new house for needy family
November 04, 2019A new house built by the Sri Lanka Air Force was presented to a deserving family, recently. According to Air Force media, the new house was presented to the family of a widowed mother of a 9-year-old boy in Kudakachchakkodiya area, Vavuniya as a part of the 41st anniversary of SLAF Base Vavuniya.
The woman’s husband had died while serving in the Civil Security Department.
The house was built with labour provided by the Air Force while the Officers and all ranks of SLAF Base Vavuniya and their families had collectively contributed towards this generous cause. Their generosity also extended to provide the needy family with a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom for the house as well.
