Police places two robots for drugs and explosives detection at Katunayake International Airport

According to Police media, the two robots are stationed at the airport's departure and arrival terminals. This measure has been taken to ensure the careful inspection of baggage and other equipment in the vicinity.
Each one of these robots is worth Rs. 80 million and has been donated by the Chinese government. The robots also have a technology that can detect explosives.
