School students educated on water safety
November 06, 2019The Sri Lanka Coast Guard conducted another water safety awareness programme for the students of the Tamil Maha Vidyalaya in Dehiwala, recently. According to Coast Guard media, the programme had been conducted as a part of the ‘Ratawenuwen Ekatasitimu’ (Let’s Stand Together for the country) Colombo District programme which was initiated under the directives of Presidential Secretariat Office.
More than 100 students and teachers of the school participated and benefitted by the programme. This is 5th water safety awareness programme to be conducted by the Coast Guard under the ‘Ratawenuwen Ekatasitumu’ programme.
