Educational seminar for Eastern students
November 26, 2019Sri Lanka Army troops in the Eastern region conducted an educational seminar for students sitting for the G.C.E Ordinary Level exam, last week. According to Army media, the seminar, organized by the Security Force Headquarters - East (SFHQ-E), was held at the Pearl Grand Reception Hall in Muttur, last Wednesday (20).
More than 500 students were benefitted by the seminar.
This is one of the far reaching community welfare projects initiated by the Army which has benefitted a large number of students especially those living in rural areas of the country. Such educational programmes are conducted with the assistance of well qualifies teachers and Education Department authorities of respective areas.
