‘Military Dialogue Programme - 2019’ held
July 26, 2019The 3rd session of the ‘Military Dialogue Programme - 2019’ was held at the Sri Lanka Air Force Base in Ratmalana recently. According to Air Force media, the two-day dialogue, organized by the Sri Lanka Air Force under the patronage of the Secretariat for Coordinating Reconciliation Mechanisms (SCRM) commenced on Monday (22 July 2019).
The ‘Military Dialogue Programme - 2019’ has been designed with the aim of enhancing awareness and the engagement of members of the tri forces, police and Civil Security Department in sustaining peace and reconciliation in Sri Lanka. The programme was attended by members of the tri forces, police and Civil Defence Department.
